rehearsal dinner

For my friend's rehearsal dinner, I had to get a little more dressed up than I did for the bridal luncheon. I decided to wear this dress from Anthropologie. It is a dress you can make casual or formal depending on the accessories you choose. I loved the print and it was very breathable, which was perfect since it was 80+ degrees that day!

Again, I took a mini blog break... A lot has happened the past month and a half. Spring is finally here and summer is in just a few short weeks! I am uncontrollably excited for pool and beach time 24/7! The most exciting events of late are that I moved into a new apartment and two of my friends got married. On a sadder note, we lost our beloved 12 year old shih tzu a few weeks ago. He was the greatest, most lovable dog and we miss him so much.

Before some of my friends started getting engaged and planning their weddings, I had no idea how many events go into a wedding weekend. A few weeks ago, my best friend got married! It was such an amazing, fun time. I just love weddings! The day before the wedding, she had a bridal luncheon for her family and the bridal party. I had to find the perfect dress to mark the occasion. I saw this dress on Urban Outfitters' Instagram and knew that this would be the dress to wear. It was dressy enough, but had a beachy, bohemian vibe that I really liked. The dress was a hit and I cannot wait to wear it throughout the summer.
